    Reports To: Executive Director;
    CRC Board of Directors;
    Pay Status: Salaried – Full Time Exempt

    General Purpose: The Director of Operations is responsible for the administration of the Children’s Recovery Center and its activities according to established policies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

    • Administers and performs the daily activities associated with the operation of the Center, including but not limited to communications, scheduling, filing, and general office operations.
    • Administers the Center budget to include: the preparation and payment of all routine expenditures, the preparation of all client billing, and the preparation of a monthly budget status report to be submitted to the Executive Director and CRC Finance Committee within five (5) days of the end of reporting month.
    • Acts as liaison with supporting groups including but not limited to, the United Way of Horry County, Horry County Council, South Carolina Department of Public Safety (VOCA), Human Trafficking Task Force, Tidelands Health Community Engagement Committee, SC Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers, and any other networking groups.
    • Supervise and be the HR liaison for the Forensic Interviewers, Children’s Advocates, and Outreach Coordinator at the CRC.
    • Provide administrative support for insurance plans for CRC employees. This includes medical insurance and supplemental insurance.
    • Works with Outreach Coordinator to schedule events and supply volunteers for weekend and evening events.
     Be the spokesman for the CRC when necessary. Be available for interviews and if not available assign interviews to other CRC staff.
    • Provide the appropriate applications and renewals to ensure the Center’s status as a non-profit organization including SC Office of the Secretary of State and the Internal Revenue Service.
    • On a quarterly basis, prepare agenda and copies and provides any supportive documents to be delivered to the Board of Directors at least (48 hours) prior to a scheduled Board of Directors meeting. Attending all Board Meetings.
    • Maintains insurance for all 3 properties owned by the CRC. Keeps a record of what each policy is specific for and renewal dates. Communicates with insurance brokers for all renewals.
    • Oversees maintenance for 3 properties owned by the CRC. Make sure upkeep is done regularly and stays within the current year’s budget.
    • Orders all supplies, office supplies and other supplies needed to carry out our mission in both Georgetown and Myrtle Beach locations.
    • Prepares, processes, and/or transmits various reports as needed and provides the statistical and financial information required to maintain existing and potential funding through governmental and private grants. Required Education, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum of five years office management experience including fiscal management and basic accounting skills
    • Demonstrates excellent communication skills both written and verbal
    • Possesses necessary computer skills (Microsoft Office, Quick Books, Internet proficiency)
    • Possesses a valid South Carolina driver’s license and vehicle
    • Proven ability to work as a team player
    • Demonstrates enthusiasm and a positive attitude Supervision and Reporting Relationships:

    A. Immediate Supervisor: Executive Director and Board of Directors
    B. Supervision Exercised: CRC Direct Care Staff, Business Manager, Part-Time Office Assistant, Volunteers
    C. Interrelationships: DSS, mental health professionals, medical professionals, patients and their families, law enforcement, Guardian Ad Litem, Solicitors Office, Judicial System, defense attorneys, supporting agency representation and public community leaders.
