    About Us
    The Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce is committed to supporting local businesses, driving economic growth, and enhancing community prosperity. We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Office Manager/Administrator to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Manage daily office operations to maintain efficiency and professionalism.
    • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and invoicing.
    • Assist the contracted CPA firm in preparing monthly financial reports.
    • Support the CEO with grant reports and other financial obligations as needed.
    • Maintain and update membership records, assisting with renewals.
    • Handle mail, incoming calls, emails, and visitor inquiries, providing excellent customer service.
    • Manage office supplies and coordinate office equipment maintenance.
    • Assist the CEO by performing other administrative tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications & Skills
    • Experience as an office manager, administrator, bookkeeper, or in a similar role.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM software preferred. QuickBooks experience is valued but not required.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
    • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
    • Customer service-oriented with a professional and friendly demeanor.
    • Punctual and reliable
    • Happy dealing with many projects at one time, handle interruptions
    • Ability to go up and down stairs several times a day.
    • Availability to work extra hours if needed.
    • Experience working with non-profits is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate eager to learn and grow in this role.

    Work Schedule & Compensation
    • Hours: Part-time (20-25 hours per week) with a flexible schedule.
    • Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
