Biking at Swampside Tract at Black River Cypress Preserve
Using single speed bicycles and a guide supplied by BRCP, participants will bike the Black River Cypress Preserve in Andrews, SC and visit some of the diverse ecosystems it has to offer! Fresh water swamps and upland forests await those who want to explore by bicycle. This 2.5 hour event will cover 5 ? 6 miles of either crushed granite or grassy trails with plenty of stops along the way. We have 2 men?s bikes with toddler seats and a range of bikes suitable for children 6 years and up. Bring your own water and dress for the weather in comfortable layers.

Brookgreen Gardens Spring Plant Sale
It's spring and time for planting! Visit Brookgreen Gardens to purchase native plants, perennials, shrubs, edibles, and annuals! Many of our plants are propagated in-house, so you are bringing a piece of Brookgreen Gardens home to your garden! The sale is orchestrated by on-site horticulture staff and volunteers who can help answer questions.

Children's Recovery Center Open House
On April 22nd, the Children's Recovery Center in Georgetown will be opening their doors for Child Abuse Prevention Month! They will be hosting an Open House at 3 pm where they will serve food and drinks. To commemorate Child Abuse Prevention Month, they will also have a Pinwheel Garden where guests can plant a blue pinwheel. The blue pinwheel is a symbol of childhood regained after healing from abuse.
