Learn more about Georgetown, SC history as you experience the fun of dyeing with all-natural indigo.

Student Materials: One pair of (Standard Yellow rubber) House Cleaning. Gloves - $1.25 at Dollar General.
Skill Level: Beginner & Intermediate ** Limit 10 students.
Participants will learn the basics of indigo dyeing by creating a bandana and a tea towel to take home. Various wrapping & dyeing techniques will be demonstrated.
Instructor Linda Abate will provide items to be dyed and all other materials necessary to create different designs.
Students are encouraged to bring one personal item to dye based on class size. Personal items should not be any larger than 36” x 36”. Students are provided three items by the instructor to dye for the class.
The workshop is non-refundable and limited to 10 students.
Please note this workshop takes place partially outdoors.
Please wear old clothes and closed-toe shoes.
Bring your drinks & snacks if desired.
Bring long latex or rubber gloves if you have them.
Weather: Should cancellation become necessary due to inclement weather, participants will be notified, and the workshop will be rescheduled.
