Holiday Traditions at Hobcaw House

Enjoy an old-fashioned party at the Hobcaw House in Georgetown!  Decorations feature native greenery from Hobcaw Barony's marshes, swamps and woods.  Local historian Lee Brockington will discuss the history of the 18th and 19th century and how those who lived here then prepared for the holidays.  The conversation will focus on the symbolism of the Lowcountry traditions.  Light refreshments will be served.
