Inaugural Rocky Point Patriot 5k/10k Trail Run/Walk

Description

The presenting sponsor of the Inaugural Rocky Point Patriot 5k/10k Trail run/Walk is the Andy Quattlebaum and Blackwell Family Foundation https://www.aqbff.org/ . We are grateful for their sponsorship; the Foundation is focused on supporting a variety of initiatives - Education, Conservation, Community Enrichment, and Veterans. The 650+ acres that lie within the boundaries of Choppee Road, Choppee Creek and the Black River in Georgetown County is known as Rocky Point Community Forest. 
PROCEEDS BENEFIT:  Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 6444 https://vfw6444.org/di/vfw/v2/default.asp. – proceeds to be used specifically for Veteran Quarterly Social Outreach.  Proceeds from the event will also go to the Plantersville Elementary https://www.gcsd.k12.sc.us/o/pes/ Parent Teacher Organization who  will use the funds for rewarding educational achievement of their students.
